iGaming Marketing Visuals

Throughout my years in design, I have worked with multiple clients from the iGaming industry. My main tasks were to create compelling visuals for campaigns and increase the potential of conversion through on-brand creatives.

I have mainly worked on two brands in the past 2 years, each with a very different style and tone of voice. Below, I have sectioned the page with colours to symbolise the division between the two brands. Due to copyright reasons, I'm only able to showcase my creations, but not the actual brands in their entirity.

The image creation process wassimilar in both cases: it included different AI tools (chatGPT and MidJourney) which were used to refine concept ideas and to create base images or base characters to then develop these further. Then I used Photoshop to make them stunning and on-brand.

The main skills used in these projects: creative ideation, creative concept creation based on campaign briefs, image generation with AI tools, image manipulation with Photoshop, resizing according to placement, collaboration with other departments.

Placement, Branding Info and Visualization

The 1st Brand’s style was about picturing a group of friends going out in the evening to an elegant casino to enjoy the thrills of playing. Key words for the brand: luxurious, exciting, elegant, grandiose, opulent, rich.

This image was prompted in an AI tool based on my image concept. The concept was to portrait a person having fun and playing at the casino while being on-brand.

To give an idea about how an image is placed and looked like on-site, I have used a UI template for both desktop and mobile versions that were similar to the original layouts.

Email Marketing

Pink Poppy Flowers

With nearly half the planet using email addresses, the ROI generated by email marketing lies around 36 USD per 1 USD spent on an email. Open rates can average around 43%, where personalized subject lines usually increasing the rate to around 50%. Conversion from email sendouts can be up to around 68% when it comes to welcome emails, and generally 3 emails can potentially mean more sales up to around 69% when sending them out after someone abandoned their order. Therefore, email marketing still remains a popular choice for business.

For Brand #1, I have built many creative assets and crafted even more written contents. The following newsletter image and content is reflecting the above generic promotion for Brand #1.

Seasonal Promotional Images

In the last 2 years, I had the privilege of designing for seasonal offers that are key to an iGaming brand's success since temporary offers, when done right, can accelerate KPIs significantly. The following images are all made with a diverse technique: first, it was prompted with AI tools, then merged or combined with other elements, and finally manipulated in Photoshop to bring the best out of them.

Carnival

For the February / March Carnival season, we had a week full of attractive promotions dressed in their best carnival costumes. The main theme for promotions was an opulent ball room with quests in imposant ball gowns and tuxedos, bringing the brand's true world of luxury to life.

Images are 600x300px sized, perfect for a newsletter.

Black Friday

The end of November means one of the best sales at most of businesses. For this occasion, we had a staggering 50% reload bonus up to 500EUR worth for our players. The visuals were made with a blending technique between raster and vector images and with the era's colours in mind: black for Black Friday.

Halloween

The end of October is many people's favourite celebration - full of scary or classic Halloween deals. This project was meant to be a luxurious Halloween party at the casino hall with our characters: The Vampire, The Witch and the Spirit of Halloween in form of a Jack'o Lantern. These images were made with the same blending technique as the ones above: once the base image has been generated through AI, I have applied advanced Photoshop skills to draw the blood on the vampire and to amend colours to match the visual theme.

Christmas

The Festive Season in December is one of the busiest and most productive campaign period in all industries. Needless to say that to leverage marketing efforts, one must produce on-brand and visually appealing creatives to further raise brand awareness and maximize efforts for ROI.

For Christmas, I have led the creative concept for this campaign period: Santa at the casino.

Placement, Branding Info and Visualization

The 2nd Brand’s style was an electrifying casino experience with 80s vibe from all the neons and their lighting on images. The logo mark itself had a visual element of a lightning bolt in it as main brand element, and we used lightning bolts across all images to make them on-brand. Key words for the brand: electrifying, exciting, thrills, 80s, real-life-like, neon.

To give an idea about how an image is placed and looked like on-site, I have used a UI template for both desktop and mobile versions that were similar to the original layouts.

This image was prompted in an AI tool based on my image concept. The concept was to portrait a person walking out of a casino with a bag of cash being happy and content with himself. Then I placed the logo in a neon style and the lightning bolts around him in Photoshop.

Promotional Images

For Brand #2, I have created a lot of images for both, seasonal and permanent promotions on-site. To be efficient and on-brand, I have used the same blending techniques as before: first, the core image was prompted with AI tools, then reworked in Photoshop with diverse graphic elements to add the brand visual of the lightning bolt and the logo where approriate.

For presentation purposes, I have used the classic 600x300 pixels ratio to showcase my best images for this brand that have been used on-site and in email marketing sendouts.

Permanent Promotions

Companies usually design their CRM with permanent promotions in mind. For Brand #2, I have created a set of images that have been displayed for nearly a full year on-site to visually support the retention and reactivation strategies of the marketing team. The images below are some of my best works that had a success rate of +10% about clicks and bonus uptake compared to the same bonus with a different image.

The image here was made for a reload bonus campaign that was permanent on-site. The first image (on the left or on the top) is the usual original image and the second one (on the right or on the bottom) is the summer version of the same promo.

These two images here were made for 2 different retention campaigns. The one with the slot machine and PacMan are made for explaining the automated rewards levels and how it works. The other one with the trophy was made for a permanent periodical tournament on-site.
